About the chess clock
A real two-sided chess clock. Put your phone or tablet between the players: after you move, tap your side and your opponent's clock starts running. Add an increment and each move gives the player who just moved extra seconds.
On phones the top clock is flipped so the player opposite can read it.

Frequently asked questions
What is a two-timer clock in chess?
A chess clock has two separate countdowns, one per player. Only the player whose turn it is has their time running; pressing the clock after a move stops yours and starts your opponent's.
What does 3+2 mean?
3 minutes for each player plus a 2-second increment added after every move. The first number is the base time in minutes, the second is the increment in seconds.
Can I use this chess timer on one phone for two players?
Yes. Lay the phone flat between you. Each half of the screen is one player's button, and the top clock is rotated to face the opponent.
What presets does the chess clock have?
Bullet 1+0 (1 minute), Blitz 3+2 (3 minutes), Blitz 5+0 (5 minutes), Rapid 10+5 (10 minutes), Rapid 15+10 (15 minutes), Classical 30+0 (30 minutes).
Is it free, and do I need an app?
It is completely free with no sign-up or download. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
