About the breathing exercise timer
Follow the words on screen: Inhale, Hold, Exhale. The ring fills for each phase and a soft tone marks each inhale and exhale, so you can close your eyes.
Box breathing (4-4-4-4) is popular for calming nerves before a talk or exam. 4-7-8 breathing, with its long exhale, is often used to wind down before sleep. Coherent breathing at about 6 breaths a minute is a gentle everyday practice.
