About the egg timer
Get perfect eggs every time with our egg timer. Choose your preferred doneness level and we'll time it perfectly. Remember to use room temperature eggs and place them in already boiling water for consistent results. An ice bath after cooking stops the cooking process immediately.

How to use the egg timer
- Choose a preset, or tap Edit time to type any hours, minutes and seconds.
- Press Start Timer (or the space bar). The finish time appears under the digits.
- Press Full screen to fill the screen — handy for classrooms, meetings and kitchens.
- When it reaches zero an alarm plays until you press Stop Alarm.
