Frequently asked questions

How long is the Pictionary timer?

The classic Pictionary board game uses a one-minute sand timer, so 60 seconds is the standard. Use 45 seconds for experienced players and 90 seconds for kids or tricky phrases.

How many seconds do you get to draw in Pictionary?

One minute per turn in the standard rules. Everyone on the drawing team guesses during that minute; 'all play' words give every team the same minute.

Can the timer restart automatically for the next team?

Turn on Auto-repeat and it restarts as soon as it reaches zero, with a short chime, so you never have to touch it between turns.

What presets does the pictionary timer have?

Fast Draw (45s) (45 seconds), Standard (60s) (1 minute), Detailed (90s) (1 minute 30 seconds). Tap Edit time to set any other length.

Is it free, and do I need an app?

It is completely free with no sign-up or download. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
